OUR STORY

Built around a single conviction.

Modal was born in a Bangkok podcast studio. A conviction that the work which moves a brand can't be separated from strategy — that production without a point of view is just noise.

We work with hospitality brands, corporate leaders, and founder-led businesses across Bangkok and Southeast Asia. Strategy, production, distribution, repurposing — built as one system, not bolted together as an afterthought.

Keith Baird is the founder and creative director of Modal Creative Studio. Half-Thai, half-American, and based in Bangkok, he's spent the better part of a decade building a production company that treats storytelling as a business asset, not a box to tick.

Before the studio existed, he was figuring out the same problems his clients now bring to him: how to make content that actually works, how to build a brand people remember, and how to produce at a standard that holds up over time. Modal is the answer he built for himself first.

His background spans creative direction, brand strategy, and content production across Southeast Asia. He leads every client engagement at the concept level, setting the creative framework before production begins and staying in the work until the final output reflects the original intention. The team he's built around him handles execution. His job is making sure the thinking behind it is sound.

He started Modal because Bangkok deserved a studio that understood both the market and the craft. That belief still drives everything the company does.
